Chalk FarM, the critically acclaimed Alternative-Rock band that gave the airwaves music with passion and words that made you think with such songs as "Lie On Lie" and "Live Tomorrow," has a new record called "Three 2s."
Singer and lead songwriter Michael Duff describes it this way: "We got so much email from our fan-base in spite of the fact that we weren't on a Major label - they didn't care, they just wanted more Chalk FarM music. Our Web-site got shut down and they still found ways to get messages to us. It really meant a lot to us - their persistence, so I decided to start TIC Records (TIC stands for The Inner Circle), I decided it was time to give them what they had been asking for."
This new (CD only) collection of songs maps the groups emotional ebb and flow since their powerful debut on Columbia called "Notwithstanding." From the hit-you-in-the-face opener "Step By Step" through the very dark and moving "The Weight" to the sure-fire radio smash "Jennifer," this album shows a maturity and depth that all Chalk FarM fans would expect.
Lead Guitarist Trace Ritter says, "Probably the most consistent comment we heard about Notwithstanding was that people liked EVERY song on it, we just wanted to give that same type of CD to the fans again."
